Hello people: friends, family and the world!

I have started this blog to write about my main hobby: webpage-design with which I communicate about all my other hobby's. So I make websites about my hobby's and I make websites about my life and that's how I express myself online. I feel that webdesign is a type of art and that my websites are pieces of art about the things that I like.

So why do I have a blog on blogspot and not on my own domain exdomo.com if making websites is such a hobby of me?

The answer is pretty simple, just as simple as it is to have a blog on blogspot: I want to invest my time on creating pieces of webart and I need enough webspace for that. Running a blog on my own domain will take up quite some diskspace because of the database that needs to be connected with it and because I do not have much financial resources I want to spend my money well and that is making websites.

Next to that: I have accounts on several Social Media like Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Quora and some more, but they all do not offer the same simplicity as Blogspot ánd some of them (especially Facebook) have quite severe issues like things not working correctly, not being open in their policy (changing things behind your back without sending notices and having a settings-section that takes hours and hours to read and maintain). Next to that some of the other Social Media Websites are just not as much fun anymore nowadays as they were in the past: they let too much persons behave rude towards others and their blocking- and punishing activities are (to say at the least) suspicious and impossible to understand. It's just not safe anymore for people to be on these huge communities who appear not to be able to control their own application (or are not willing to invest enough in this subject).

Blogspot is very uncomplicated and I love just to write with all that fuzz around it, it's relaxing and I love to just type what I want to say instead of having to think all the time about webcoding-rules or community-rules that are shady and unjust (by the way: you cán use HTML-tags here on Blogspot if you like to do so).

So that's why I am here and if you feel that you would like to try out yourself too then DO IT: you'll see how soon you get the hang of it: it's made for everybody, young and old.
